Our Wagyu beef is imported from the Kagoshima prefecture in Japan and is widely regarded as top tier quality due to the mild climate and ecology of the southern region. The temperate climate of the region allows farmers to raise healthy cattle with low-stress levels. The cattle raised here make up about 20% of Japan’s Kuroge Wagyu cattle, which are one of the highly prized breeds that produces A5 Wagyu quality. Every five years, Japan hosts the Wagyu Olympics, and the last Winner in 2017 was Kagoshima Wagyu.
